Birch Trees have always been known for being the sign of new beginnings and change in life style. And since they are predominant in Vermont and Connecticut, it seemed only fitting to name this project after them.

This music reminds me of all the folk musicians I've to listen to in the past and who I listen to now. Musicians such as Leo Kottke, Donovan, Grateful Dead, Neil Young, Vashti Bunyan, Flying Burrito Brothers, and OCS.
